I made my first homepage back in December 1994. Back then It was a big event and a short while I was considered sort of Web guru among my friends. Nowadays when everybody has a homesite of somekind, it's probably soon more fashionable not to have homepage at all. Since 1994 my site has gone through many changes and updates. These pages you are reading now have got version number 4.01

It all started with just this homepage and the collection of my favourite links in it. Soon my link collection got so big that it was very difficult to keep it up-to-date and I lost interest in it. Nowadays I am quite picky about the websites I add to my bookmarks. Let's face it, quality websites are hard to find among - how would I put this politely - thousands of "not so impressive" web pages. To promote quality and well designed homesites I started my Paras A-ryhmä (the Best A-group) -award a year ago. Not long after I had finished a few first versions of my homepage, I noticed 'Hey, I can enough HTML to create these pages. So why my site still looks quite lame and crabby?'. Soon I figured out it gotta be something to do with graphics and design. I am not one of those natural born artists or designers but I decided that I can still try to make my pages better looking. I read that most of those web designer gurus use Photoshop to make their graphics. While learning how to use Photoshop I started to plan a small scale web gallery of some pictures I made. I finally got it on the web last summer, so feel free to visit MOODS - a Gallery of pictures and thoughts.

First versions of my homepages were mostly in Finnish language and there are still some sections I haven't translated. So it's possible that you'll bump into one of the weirdest and most difficult languages in the world. One of my early projects was an article (in Finnish) about Windows' Internet software and homepage design. I haven't really updated it lately but it may still contains some useful links and information.
