News and information relevant to English Translation is distributed via the ETRAN-L mailing list. All English Translation major and minor students are expected to subscribe to ETRAN-L. A separate list, TREN1-L, provides HOPS and other practical information to each group of first-year English Translation students.

ETRAN-L is primarily for administrative communication among English Section staff and students, but can also be used to circulate news and other information of relevance to the section as a whole.
