Costs and cancellation
Course fees for summer 2017 will be published in January.
Course fees for students not registered at the University of Tampere for the autumn semester 2016 were:
180 euros for a course of 2 ECTS
360 euros for a course of 4 ECTS
450 euros for a course of 5 ECTS.
The course fee includes
- registration to the course
- guidance and service
- info package
- study facilities and
- transcript/certificate (for external students).
NOTE! No meals included, lunch at campus restaurant for extra cost.
The courses are free of charge for
degree students of the University of Tampere
exchange students of the University of Tampere (academic year 2016-2017, arriving for the autumn semester)
degree students of the Tampere University of Technology and the Tampere University of Applied Sciences
Depending on the type of accommodation, the fee for housing for two weeks is approx. 300 euros. Please see Accommodation info for further details.
Social Programme fee
The UTA Summer School Social Programme includes activities that are free of charge and activities that are chargeable. Please see the entire Social Programme for further details.
Enrolment is required for all activities and events - selected Summer School students will received enrolment instructions.
Please note that all fees for Social Programme activities are non-refundable!
Students who have been admitted and registered (= final confirmation) to UTA Summer School 2016 may cancel their participation by a given date. UTA Summer School will refund the course fee, minus all banking and administrative costs.
Written cancellation must be sent to email@example.com by a given date.
After the cancellation deadline nothing of the course fee will be refunded. The same policy applies if you are forced to cancel because you did not receive a visa.
Please note that Tampere Summer School reserves the right to cancel a course if the minimum amount of students is not reached. In case of a cancellation, applicants will be notified.
