The University of Tampere does not use or encourage the use of agents in applying. International applicants should make their applications themselves. Applicants are warned against fraudulent agents who claim money for applying and in case of admittance blackmail money against the letter of acceptance.
Application to the UTA Master’s Degree Programmes takes place during the application period in December – January. Depending on the programme, the intake is either yearly or every second year.
Applying to the UTA has two parts: 1) filling in an electronic application form and 2) submitting the required enclosures by post by the application deadline.
The applications are submitted to University Admissions Finland (UAF) through the studyinfo.fi application system. The enclosures are sent by post to UAF. We do not accept applications sent directly to the University of Tampere.
UAF pre-processes all applications before sending them to the University of Tampere for the selection of students. The pre-processing includes verification of applicants' language skills according to the programme-specific requirements, and processing applicants' educational documents. This includes verifying the authenticity of the educational documents as well as credential evaluation.
On these pages you can find information on the eligibility criteria, application process, required enclosures, and selection of students.
