Meet us    

We are pleased to meet prospective students and provide information on our programmes. At the study fairs you can find us under the name Study in Tampere as we are accompanied by the two other universities in Tampere: Tampere University of Applied Sciences and Tampere University of Technology.

For the autumn 2011 we have closed our successful tour of study fairs. This time we had the pleasure of meeting potential applicants at four exhibitions in Europe and one in China. 

• The Europe Day 24 September offered a chance for all the interested people to visit the embassies and consulates of the EU-countries. At the Consulate General of Finland in Saint Petersburg, the Finnish higher education institutions were presented to the potential applicants. The event was coordinated by the Centre for International Mobility, CIMO. • The exhibition in St. Petersburg was followed by two ICIEP student fairs. The first one was held in Moscow on 8 October and the second that brought us back to St. Petersburg, on 9 October.
• After three exhibitions in Europe it was time to head farther east. The China Education Expo was held in Beijing 15.-16 October. It was already the third time that UTA was present at this fair.
• The last exhibition we attended this autumn took place 21.-23 October in Sofia. The Education Beyond Borders fair offered us a chance to present our selection of Master’s programmes to prospective Bulgarian students.

The application period for the Master’s Degree Programmes begins 1 December and ends 31 January, 15 February or 15 March 2012 depending on the programme. The Erasmus Mundus Masters Course MARIHE is open for applications 01 October - 20 December 2011.
