Master's Degree Programme in Research and Innovation in Higher Education (MARIHE) - ERASMUS Mundus Masters Course

The programme is carried out in cooperation with international partner universities, students have an opportunity to study in at least three different universities.

Application for self-paying students closes 16 May 2012 at 12:00 p.m./midnight (Central European Time).
Applications for the programme are handled by the coordinating university Danube University Krems, Austria.

Application period 2011 for participation in MARIHE with an Erasmus Mundus scholarship (student enrolment in summer 2012) is closed - deadline was 20 December 2011.

The Master’s Degree Programme in Research and Innovation in Higher Education (MARIHE) is an Erasmus Mundus programme (2012-2018) offered in cooperation with Danube University Krems, Austria (coordinating University), Beijing Normal University, China, and University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück, Germany.

The programme provides students a unique opportunity to develop a sound understanding of the change processes of the society and how these link to higher education systems and university development with respect to policy making, management and leadership. Students have an opportunity to get insight into fields of practice during an internship provided by international enterprises and organizations.

The students accepted by the programme will be granted a scholarship from the European Commission.

Admission Criteria

  • Applicants for MARIHE must hold a first university degree in a relevant field, have a good command of English and show a strong motivation and interest to learn and work in the field of research and innovation development and management in Tertiary Education.
