What to Study?

University of Tampere offers several degree programmes within which a variety of course units suitable for exchange studies are offered. In addition, there is a nice selection of study modules outside the degree programmes.

Exchange and visiting students apply for a right to study within the degree programmes (without being granted the right to complete a degree) or the study modules. Accepted students receive a Letter of Acceptance from the degree programme or a study module they applied for.

However, exchange and visiting students can add course units offered by other degree programmes or study modules to their study programme as long as they meet the requirements set in the curriculum (previous or equivalent courses taken, knowledge of the language of instruction) and there are still places left. This way exchange and visiting students can form a multi-disciplinary entity according to their own interests and academic needs.
