Financing of Studies
Unfortunately, the University cannot offer financial aid to international students. You must at all times be able to finance your studies and living expenses or have a scholarship from your home university or from other sources outside the University of Tampere. Only under certain bilateral agreements may the University of Tampere grant a scholarship to a student of a partner university.
- International Partner Universities with which the University of Tampere has bilateral agreements on student and teacher exchange or multilateral agremeents on co-operation can be found at:

- CIMO awards and administers scholarships for international students, postgraduate students (after Master-level), researchers (postgraduates after Master-level degree or postdoctorates)
Scholarships are offered to applicants from all countries. There are several scholarship programmes, each of which has its own eligibility criteria, application procedures, application deadline and application form.
