
Compulsory education in Finland starts at the age of seven. Compulsory attendance at school is required of all children of school age who permanently live in Finland. Finnish comprehensive school lasts for 9 years. The instruction, learning materials, daily meals and health care are provided free of charge in comprehensive school. International schools in Tampere:
