MDP in Health Sciences
I am Christopher Kipkorir, a second-year student in Health Sciences. I am 27 years old and originally from Kenya, although I have been living in Finland for several years already. I have done my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with specialisation in Public Health nursing.
When it comes to my experiences about studying at UTA, there are three important aspects to point out. First of all the study environment: the school offers a great and conducive environment for studies, for example accessibility to the library services is awesome. Secondly the staff, they are approachable and helpful. And finally the fellow students: they are just amazing, different nationalities and professions make it unique and everybody has something great to offer. We have the brightest minds put together and that really is something. These are the future leaders.
I have been in Finland for a while but Tampere is a new city for me. It is interesting to live here, the city is beautiful and friendly. There are lots of international students around to provide an international environment and a sense of belonging.
