Tampere Centre for Cultural Studies was founded in 3rd of November as multidisciplinary link between researchers and teachers of the University of Tampere. The objective of the centre is to increase dialogue and encourage cultural studies between disciplines, departments and research projects. TACS welcomes to its activities all the researchers who theoretically or empirically examine the meanings of cultural and social practices and their power relations.
