Official duties
As a COMET researcher, I jointly participate in The Finnish Doctoral Programme for Russian and East European Studies at the Aleksanteri Institute affiliated with the University of Helsinki. [] The four-year period (2010-2013) is meant to complete a doctoral dissertation.
Research Interests
I am interested in the effects of citizen journalism on news media industry, particularly the effects causing social, professional, political, and economical changes.

Official duties

Post-doctoral researcher in the project "Digital networks of soft power: a study of the “Russkiy Mir” project and its reception among the Russian diaspora in Moldova" (Academy of Finland, 2015-2018)

Research, administrative tasks and coordination assistance within the MediaClimate 2.0 project. Inside this large international project, my research focuses on the Russian media coverage of the issues of climate change and the more general comparisons of social media use and digital networks of communication.

Participation in the BRICS media systems project - research assistance related to the themes of online journalism, social media and blogging.
