Good stories happen to people who know how to tell them, as Henry James has it. Our intention is to make the Tampere Conference on Narrative a fresh, compelling story, a source of new myths and a forum for good scholarly work on narrative theory. We come from different disciplines and believe in interdisciplinary work. We believe that a good conference is something more than just the academic program. Therefore, we are committed to do our best in creating a friendly and hospitable atmosphere for the whole event. Narrative approach is indeed something more than just a new track of academic competition. We are looking forward to meeting a truly interesting group of old and new friends and thrilling scholars here in Tampere, and prepared to making all of yours visit enjoyable. .
