| Child health and nutrition project is realized in Malawi and in Bangladesh. It is coordinated by Prof. Per Ashorn and it focuses on the infectious disease morbidity and on the causes and possible interventions against malnutrition among infants and children in low-income countries.
In Malawi, University of Tampere Medical School and University of Malawi, College of Medicine have jointly established a rural public health research site at Lungwena Health Centre, Mangochi District.
