Doctoral Programme of Education and Society

The postgraduate studies in the School of Education are organised under the doctoral programme Education and Society. The doctoral programme contributes to the societally relevant educational research according the strategy of the University of Tampere. The research topics deal with the current and future phenomena of education and society and they are studied from critical viewpoints. The School of Education pursues to support the culture of co-researching in raising a new generation of researchers.

The School of Education offers Doctor of Philosophy (Education) as a scientific postgraduate degree in which the major subject is Education or Adult Education.
