The School of Education (EDU) is a scientific research and learning community that studies change in education and society and reshapes education. EDU trains socially and culturally competent education professionals who approach educational matters in a critical and interdisciplinary way.
At the School of Education, we:
- conduct societally vital research and actively work on the education we provide, taking social and structural connections into consideration.
- analyse education in the context of national and international education policy and civic society.
- participate in the discussion on education and develop new research-based conventions in the field.
For more information about EDU's researchers and their publications, please see SoleCRIS, the publication database at the University of Tampere.
