During the seminar we will hear three presentations, which will be commented on by discussants Ville Kivimäki (history), Kirsi Peltonen (psychology) and Ville Vuolanto (history).

  • Sari Katajala-Peltomaa (University of Tampere): Trauma and demons - mental disorders in the Middle Ages
  • Riikka Miettinen (University of Tampere): The thin line between madness and sanity. Determination of in/sanity in seventeenth-century Sweden and Finland
