Senior lecturer Anna Metteri, YKY

Dr. David Nichols, Senior Lecturer in Urban Planning from the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne (Victoria, Australia) will give a public lecture and seminar on writing about community.

He is a recognized, innovative scholar transgressing boundaries of disciplines. His research is focusing on architectural and urban past and cultural and sustainable landscapes. He has ongoing interest in community development, action and resilience at both local and wider cultural levels. His blog Internal reserve on the current research subject has so far received more than 23,000 ‘hits’ from around the world.
Dr. Nichols is visiting scholar at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Tampere.
