Exchange students for the spring term 2016 are getting to know the University and City of Tampere

Last Monday, 104 international exchange students from 27 countries started their journey into the University of Tampere, the City of Tampere and student life. The four-day orientation session provided an introduction to study services, intercultural learning and the Finnish higher education system.

This term, the most students come from China 13, France 12, Germany 10, Russia 8, Greece 8, Spain 6 and Brazil 5. In addition, 1-4 students come from 20 other countries.

Most of the students study in the Degree Programmes in Business Studies and in Politics at the School of Management, the Degree Programmes in Social Sciences and in Social Work at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the Degree Programmes in English Language, Literature and Translation and in French at the School of Language, Translation and Literary Studies.
