Professors of financial management and public sector accounting Eija Vinnari and Lasse Oulasvirta are involved in an international teaching development project “Developing and Implementing European Public Sector Accounting modules”, which received EUR 375,000 funding from the Erasmus+ for Higher Education Programme.

The project started in October and it is coordinated by the University of Rostock. The other partner institutions are the University of Coimbra, the University of Leicester and the University of Linz. The aim of the three-year project is to develop a public sector accounting textbook and a teaching module that can be implemented not only in the partner universities but also in other higher education institutions in Europe.

Erasmus+ for Higher Education is the European Union’s exchange and cooperation programme (2014-2020), which aims to enhance the internationalisation and quality of higher education.
