Assessing the ability of mutations to cause diseases by analysing protein structures

The use of genetic information has become more prevalent during the last decade as the cost of sequencing has declined rapidly. The limiting factor for making use of this information is our knowledge and ability to understand and predict the effects of detected mutations. In this study, new methods and tools are presented for this challenging task.
