After the talk, those interested are welcome to stay in a seminar given by Dr. Bridges, with a focus on building a program of research with Interactional Ethnography. The seminar will start at 15:15 at the same location (Linna 5026).


Associate Professor Susan Bridges, The University of Hong Kong

Dr Susan Bridges is an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean (Curriculum Innovation) with the Faculty of Education and the Centre for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Her areas of Expertise are: Higher Education Pedagogy, Problem-Based Learning; Health Communication and Health Literacy, exploring the ‘how’ of effective pedagogy and professional communication.

Her most recent co-edited book Educational Technologies in Medical and Health Sciences Education follows the successful 2012 volume Problem-Based Learning in Clinical Education: The Next Generation which has recorded over 15, 700 downloads to date.
