Project on ageing and generations receives research funding

Research Director Pirjo Nikander from the University of Tampere is a member in a research project that will receive funding from The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training network.

The international, interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral “EuroAgeism” project examines, among other things, age-sensitive decision-making, intergenerational solidarity, and questions related to lengthening work careers and ageism.

The research project will recruit fifteen early career researchers two of whom will work at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Tampere, Finland.
