Doctoral Programmes

All doctoral students of the University of Tampere belong to a doctoral programme in their specific discipline to the University Doctoral School. A doctoral programme equals a doctoral degree programme which is taken according to the study plan for the programme.  The School is responsible for the content and teaching on the doctoral programme and also for granting the doctoral degree. The University's new doctoral programmes start on 1.8.2012.
