Tampere Peace Research Institute invites applications for the 2009 TAPRI research grant. The grant is 15 600 Euros (1 300 Euros per month).
The focus of the present programme is on the issues of peaceful change. The main projects are dealing with new security challenges, such as international crisis-management and Europe's relations with its nearby regions. Information on ongoing research can be found on TAPRI's homepage. The applicant's research project should relate to TAPRI's research programme. Doctoral students are prioritised.
Assessment of research proposals is entrusted to the Board of the Institute for Social Research. Applications should be addressed to the Board of the Institute for Social Research and sent by 7 November 2008 before 4.15 p.m. to the address Tampereen yliopiston kirjaamo, 33014 University of Tampere, Finland.
