Are You Hoping to Apply for a Master's Degree Programme at the University of Tampere?

Application period for autumn 2009 entry has opened. All students should apply through University Admissions Finland, the Finland's central admissions service.

Master's Degree programmes in English are offered in the fields of social sciences, computer sciences and health sciences. The programme descriptions and guidelines for applicants are published at: http://www.uta.fi/admissions/degreeprog/. The on-line Guide also contains information on Master's programmes under the Erasmus Mundus Scheme as well as on some future degree programmes. Also contact information for those interested in postgraduate (doctoral) studies at the University of Tampere and other useful information for international applicants is included.

Those applying for a Master's Programme are required to have completed a Bachelor's degree in the same major subject as that of the intended Master's programme or in a closely related field. Applications are welcome from eligible international and Finnish applicants alike.

The application period is from 1 December 2008 to 10 February 2009 (with the exception of the Master's Degree Programme in Bioinformatics to 2 February 2009).
