Café Moravia – edizione due, premiered in Modena last fall, gets two extra performances on Friday the 30 th of January at 13 and 20 o'clock.
The performers are final year actor students from the Department of Acting. Café Moravia – edizione due is directed by Hanno Eskola and Ari Numminen.
In Café Moravia meet people who yearn for love, who play games with love, who try to escape love, who languish in love, who rebuild broken down love, who collaps without love; it´s a venue where they dance tenderly or hecticly, but (as is common knowledge) "love don't dance".
Duration 1 hour. Performed in Italian. Free tickets, reservations by email: teatteri@uta.fi or by phone: +358(0)50 395 1197 between 1 and 3 p.m. on weekdays.
Teatterimonttu, the teaching theatre of Department of Acting is located in the D-wing of University main building (Kalevantie 4).
"The whole ensemble has one, shared pulse. It works like a bipolar magnet, which repels and attracts at the same time. It throws people apart and brings them back together again. One doesn't have to know Italian to understand the performance. Motion, dance and mimicry opens it to everyone." (Aamulehti 4.10.2008/Maarit Saarelainen – citation translated by Maria Salomaa )
