DOPAS is an expert programme for international post-graduate students with an aim at gaining knowledge and understanding of ageing and health both as individual and social phenomena. The aim is to train experts to work in research tasks, administration and planning.
DOPAS will be launched in 2009 as a pilot doctoral programme by the University of Tampere (Tampere School of Public Health, TSPH) and the University of Jyväskylä (Department of Health Sciences and Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy). The deadline for applications is March 31, and the first group of international students will be selected in April 2009. The studies start in the last week of August 2009.
