Practical Intensive Course: Viewpoints on the Performance Style of African Theatre

This practical intensive course introduces the thinking and language of the Viewpoints technique on improvisational movement on stage.  Igbo-stories and fables are studied in comparison to the Viewpoints and the style of the performance in Africa.

Teaching language is English, contributions and translations can also be in Finnish. Readings and a learning diary are included. This course is open for exchange students! (Max. 20 students)

Teachers: Charles Ogu, Disa Kamula (FM). The course includes physical exercises, so please dress up accordingly.
