The 20th Interactive Technology in Education conference will be held in April

Interactive Technology in Education (ITK) is the largest conference in Finland related to information and communication technology in educational use. The yearly conference is organised by several institutions, one of them being the Department of Information Studies and Interactive Media at the University of Tampere.

The 20th ITK conference will be held in Hämeenlinna on April 22–24, 2009. International guest speakers include Professor Mitsugu Terada from Fukuoka University, Japan, and Peter Karlberg from the Swedish National Agency for Education.

The conference consists of common lectures, forums, workshops and an ITK open content bazaar. The open content bazaar offers examples about variated open contents made by teachers, trainers, organizations or by who ever who wants to present their open contents. The bazaar is open throughout the conference.
