The popular lecture series on Finnish society and culture begins again on September 16h with a lecture on Finnish History.
The lecture series is specially designed for international students and staff who wish to know more about the Finnish Society and Culture. The main purpose is to introduce the listeners to the society and culture of contemporary Finland and to give them an idea of the development and cultural, political and economic background of one of the Nordic welfare states.
The lectures are organised by SITR (Studying in Tampere Region project). Everybody who is interested in the topic is welcome to listen to the lectures. International exchange and degree students of UTA, PIRAMK & TAMK and international exchange students of TUT can get 1–3 credits for this course.
Lectures are given every Wednesday at 17.15-19:45 in the Pinni B building, room B1100.
