Eero Pantzar appointed visiting DAAD Professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen

Professor Eero Pantzar has been invited to take up an appointment as DAAD visiting professor at the Institut für Berufs- und Weiterbildung, University of Duisburg-Essen in the spring term 2010.  This is Germany’s only DAAD-funded professorial post in education.  Professor Pantzar’s duties are to include teaching on two courses and arranging an international workshop.  Agreement has moreover been reached on the production of a textbook in English.

The visiting professorship is also part of the international European Master in Adult Education Programme.  Professor Pantzar’s predecessors include Professor Paul Belanger of the University of Montreal, Professor Hans Schuetze of the University of British Columbia and Professor Licinio Lima of the University of Minho.
