Use the Recycling Room to recyle useable goods

There is a Recycling Room in the basement of the Main building E Wing (Room E 105).

Unneeded goods with some useful life left in them can be left in the Recycling Room. You can also pick up things that you need free of charge.

Examples of what you can leave in the Recycling Room include books, appliances that are in working order and anything else that is still useful. No clothes or shoes will be accepted. You can also bring eggboxes to be reused by the organic food producers.

How to use the University Recycling Room

• You can bring and take away goods that are in working order and also books. No clothes or shoes, please.
• The Recycling Room is intended to people to dispose of their personal property. If you have something you want to sell use the fleamarket column (Yliopiston kirpputori)
• Please note that University property can only be left in the Recycling Room with the permission of the Purchasing Department.
• When bringing or picking up goods please do your part and attend to decent order in the Recycling Room.
