Preliminary firefighting practice for University personnel and students

The Tampere regional rescue services have promised to arrange preliminary firefighting practice for University personnel and students. Times and places as follows:

- Tuesday 16 March in front of the Pinni B Building at 9.00, 9.30, 10.00 and 10.30
- Thursday 18 March in front of the Pinni B Building at 9.00, 9.30, 10.00 and 10.30
- Thursday 18 March on the Kauppi campus in front of the Arvo Building at 13.00 and 13.30.

Training will include how to use the extinguishing blanket and hand extinguisher.  At half-hourly intervals the correct use of this equipment will be demonstrated, after which all attendees will have an opportunity to try it out. The training will be in Finnish.
