Finnish History: Finns and Finland between East and West

Docent Vesa Vares gives a lecture on Finnish history at the University of Tampere (UTA), PINNI B -building, room B1100 at 18:15-19:45.

The lecture is part of the lecture series "Finnish Society and Culture" and is organised by Studying in Tampere Region (SITR).

The lecture series is specially designed for international students and staff who wish to know more about the Finnish Society and Culture. The main purpose is to introduce the listeners to the society and culture of contemporary Finland and to give them an idea of the development and cultural, political and economic background of one of the Nordic welfare states.
