Open lecture by Hannu Sinisalo on 21st October

Researcher Hannu Sinisalo (University of Tampere/ Ethnology) gives a lecture about cultural boundaries of Finnishness and ethnic minorities in Finland.
The lecture will be held at the University of Tampere (UTA), PINNI B -building, room B1100 at 18:15-19:45.
Hannu Sinisalo works as a researcher and lecturer of Ethnology. His expertise in the field of Ethnology include Visual anthropology, Ethnographic film and photography, Cultural history of technology, Cultural history of Sami and Modern Greece, Literature as folk documentation, Tale tradition, and Street literature.
The lecture series is specially designed for international students and staff who wish to know more about the Finnish Society and Culture. The main purpose is to introduce the listeners to the society and culture of contemporary Finland and to give them an idea of the development and cultural, political and economic background of one of the Nordic welfare states.
