Fair trade production in Malawi and Ecuador
Experiences on the fair trade system, seminar on October 27th
Fairtrade University Steering Group in University of Tampere organizes an seminar on Fair trade in K103 (Linna building) between 14:00 and 16:00 on Wednesday October 27.
During the seminar Fair trade sugar producers Aubrey Chilenje and Charity Mzongwe will tell about their experiences and the fair trade system.
Pro Fair Trade Finland (Reilun kaupan puolesta Repu ry) volunteer Waltteri Katajamäki, who has worked twice in a Fair trade banana farm in Ecuador. A part of his work abroad consisted on researching greenhouse gas emissions in banana farming.
