University website renewed

As of the beginning of 2011 the University of Tampere has conducted a thorough overhaul of its organization. The former faculties and departments have been rearranged into nine schools.

The university website has been renewed accordingly, and the nine new schools websites have been published. The new websites give a first introduction to the schools. The former faculty and department pages will be preserved and will serve as a source of information during the transfer period.

The University main website has been revamped to share the same look with the schools. The front page now allows more room for news stories and current events. The site also features a new shortcut footer which provides links to the most frequently used services.
