Every Tuesday in Room E348 5-7 p.m. starting 18 January 2011
The Language Centre offers international and Finnish staff a meeting point every Tuesday night. Come and talk about your interests with a mixed academic crowd.
You can for example
* give a short talk about a topical issue
* introduce university teaching or research practice at your home university
* invite people to join in a discussion of a topic
OR
* you can just come and listen to talks and meet people
* follow the UTA Debate Society debate in room E301
The UTA Third Place is a place for intercultural and transdisciplinary[1] communication at the university.
The Language Centre provides teaching of Languages for Specific Purposes for degree requirements and promotes intercultural communication and awareness.
Come and share your views on topics of your choice. English will be a common language, the Lingua Franca but all languages are welcome!
