New phishing messages at the university
Again, phishing messages are circulating at the University. The purpose of these messages is to pry University members' passwords and user accounts.
The most recent phishing scam is titled "Suojausvaroitus" and the message claims there is a DGDTJO virus in the user's email account. The message is in Finnish.
Currently, there are also two other kinds of messages in circulation. The subject of the other message is "Error Code #UTA84455N" and the other "Respond Urgnently to Upgrade your Webmail account for 2011". In both cases, the sender is IT Help Desk or similar.
