The universities in Tampere will jointly organize an Intensive Language Course on Finnish Language, Society and Culture for Hungarian Erasmus students in Tampere, Finland August 1-19, 2011. The level of the course is basics (A1), i.e. it is for those who have not studied Finnish before.
The course is organized in honour of the 90-year-old diplomatic relations between Hungary and Finland (1920-2010). This year Hungary has held the EU presidency for the first time, which makes the course even more well-timed. The course is co-funded by the Government of Finland, Elcoteq, Nokia-Siemens Networks and Sanoma Budapest.
Students registered in a Higher education institution in Hungary holding an ERASMUS University Charter who have been selected for an ERASMUS study or placement period in Finland are eligible to participate.
Applicants from various fields of study and from all around Hungary are welcome. The application period ends 6 June 2011.
