Selection of Students for the Academic Year 2011-2012

Student selection for the Master’s Degree Programmes starting in August/September 2011 has been finalised at the University of Tampere (UTA). During April-May 121 new degree students were granted the right to study. New students have to confirm the offer of a place by Tuesday 2 August at 16.15 local time (GMT +2).

UTA received a total of 755 applications for the Master’s Degree Programmes instructed in English. The deadline for applications was 1 February 2011. New application period opens in early December 2011.

The number of accepted exchange and visiting students commencing their studies in the autumn 2011 has already reached 300 while the total number is expected to rise to 350. Deadline for applications for the autumn semester was 15 May 2011. The selections will be made by 13 June. Application round for spring semester arrivals begins 1 September and closes 15 October 2011.
