Intensive Language Courses for International Students start on Monday

Five groups of international students start learning basics of Finnish on Monday at UTA.

Five intensive language courses for international students start on Monday August 1 at the University of Tampere. The students will study Finnish language and culture intensively until August 19, 2011.

The University of Tampere organizes three Erasmus Intensive Language Courses. In addition, the SITR university network organizes two intensive courses on Finnish Language, Society and Culture at the location of the University of Tampere: One is the SITR Summer School 2011 for new exchange and degree students coming from outside the European Union (EU). The other is a special Intensive Course for Hungarian students (ILC Hungary 2011) which is organized in honour of the 90-year-old diplomatic relations between Hungary and Finland (1920-2010).
