Photo competition for international students

UTA's International Office has just launched a photo competition!

Subject: My UTA

For whom: The competition is open for all exchange and international Master's Degree Programme students currently at the UTA.

What: The photos should be connected to your experience of being a student at the UTA.  The photos can be taken for example in the campus, in your student dormitories or in the city.

When: The competition ends on 19 October 2012. The winners of the competition will be announced and awarded the following week.  They will be personally contacted by email.

Submission: Please return the photos as an attachment by email to intoffice@uta.fi together with your full name, contact information (UTA email address), home university (in case of exchange students) by 19 October 2012! You may also add a few thoughts of the photo.

Rules:

• Remember to ask a permission to use the photo and inform the people in the photo where it will be used.
• Photos must be in JPEG format and preferably the resolution of one photo should be minimum 300 dpi.
• Avoid photos which are offensive.
• Write down the names of the people in your photo and where it was taken.
• Participants have to own rights to the photos provided for the competition.
• Each student can return a maximum of 3 photos.
• By sending the photos to the competition, the participants give the International Office of the UTA the right to use and publish them online and in print. The photos can be used for example on our website, brochures and information and training sessions. The participants remain the right to use the photos freely.
