Earth Hour on 31 March. No lights on the University facade

Earth Hour will be held on Saturday 31 March from 20.30 to 21.30. The University of Tampere will participate by a blackout in the Main Building, the Linna Building and the Arvo Building. The University logo and signs will also be switched off during this time.

Earth hour is organized by WWF throughout the world. Private individuals and organizations will extinguish lights for the good of the climate. WWF reports that last year 1.8 billion people participated.
