Campus allotment is urban farming where vegetables and herbs will be grown in box-like bins in the yard of the C wing of the Main Building. Allotment farming does not require previous experience.
In the first meeting we will check that the bins are ready for planting, fertilize the topsoil and plant seeds and seedlings. You can go here to vote for the time that suits you best for the first meeting http://www.doodle.com/5cmkywvsi8eqsiaz.
All old and new farmers are welcome to allotment farming. It doesn't matter if you cannot make it the first time because there will be meetings frequently all through summer and everybody can come to take care of the allotment.
If you are interested in the campus allotment or if you have questions about campus farming, you can send them to Anni Heinälä anni.heinala@tamy.fi
