New students have arrived to accept their places of study at an exceptional rate. On the first day of registration the queue for the Registrar’s Office snaked all the way to the front door. On the second day students also started to arrived at a steady pace as soon as the Registrar’s Office opened.
On the first day of registration the Registrar’s Office opened half an hour earlier than normal and did not close until 4.30 when the last people in the queue had been registered.
- We are anticipating that things will be busy all week but next week will probably be a bit more quiet, says Arja Liikanen, Secretary of Education.
The deadline for registering as both an incoming and an old student is 31 August.
