• FinnOA – Finnish Open Access Working Group. - A team consisting of researchers, scientific publishers and scientific libraries was founded in April 2003. The aim is to improve the free availability of Finnish scientific knowledge.

Institutional repositories in Finland

Many Finnish universities have a digital archive of some kind. In addition to these, the National Library maintains two centralized archives: Theseus for materials of universities of applied sciences and Doria mainly for materials of universities.
