Festival News appears on the web and also as a printed version during the Tampere Film Festival, 2003. The online version of Festival News appears daily during the Festival from March 5 - 9. The printed version appears twice, on March 5th and March 8th.

The journalists, photographers, web designers and web journalists are students the of Information Newtwork Master Programme. The sub-editors of the printed version are students the of Information Network Master Programme and are advanced journalism students at the University of Tampere. The translators are students in the Department of Translation Studies.

This publication is a production of an academic web journalism course. From this project, the students get work experience and credit units for their studies.
