Professor and a film director Rajko Grlic has come to Tampere Festival to present his cd-rom "How to make a movie - an interactive film school", a virtual film school. The cd-rom is highly intriguing, and it has almost an infinite number of clicks to find more and more information. "It is fun to play with this, but naturally I made this for teaching purposes", Grlic explains.
Creating with toysThe mission is to get the virtual film school to the Internet, so that every child can try and see it. According to Grlic, the future of the Internet is bright. The new technology offers new possibilities to create. "I'd say that the television is dying in next five years. Cd-rom is changing. But good stories will survive because that's what everybody needs". Grlic denies that he is a computer freak: "I don't understand anything about technology. These machines are all toys".
